US Open Results: Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray advance to semis

With his power and precision in the quarterfinals of the US Open, defending champion Rafael Nadal outlasted Andy Roddick to advance to the semifinals.

Speed and determination made Nadal to silence crowd favorite Roddick right from the start as he controlled the whole game, 6-2, 6-1, 6-3. Nadal will have a chance to advance to the finals if he can defeat Andy Murray who also advances in the semifinals.
